Dear Parents and Guardians,

1. NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of parents of learners enrolled at John Orr Engineering School of Specialisation will be held on Saturday, 28 November 2026, from 10:00 to 13:00 in the school hall.

The meeting will consider important matters relating to the governance, financial management and continued development of the school, including the proposed budget for the 2027 academic year.

2. QUORUMREQUIREMENT

The school currently has 1,002 learners on its school roll. Based on the stipulated quorum requirement of 15%, the calculation is as follows:

1. Total number of learners: 1,002
2. Required quorum: 15%
3. Minimum number required: 151 parents Parents are strongly encouraged to attend the AGM to ensure that the required quorum is achieved and that the meeting can proceed with its business.
4. ALTERNATIVE MEETING DATE IF AQUORUM IS NOT ACHIEVED

Should the required quorum not be attained at the scheduled AGM on Saturday, 28 November 2026, the meeting will be adjourned and the alternative meeting will be held as follows:
